From the North or South of Norwich:
- Take I-395 toward Norwich; leave I –395 at exit 81E.
- This will place you on the Route 2 expressway traveling east toward Norwich.
- Observe “End of Expressway” signs, use right turn lane to turn right at traffic light marking the end of the expressway.
- Continue straight at the first traffic light, at the next light stay to left of fork.
- At next traffic light, continue straight, then turn left at the first opportunity onto Rockwell Street.
- At the second stop sign, Sheltering Arms is the two-story brick building across the intersection on the left.
From the West:
- Take Route 2 Expressway east toward Norwich.
- Observe “End of Expressway” signs, use right turn lane to turn right at traffic light marking the end of the expressway.
- Continue straight at the first traffic light, at the next light stay to left of fork.
- At next traffic light, continue straight, then turn left at the first opportunity onto Rockwell Street.
- At the second stop sign, Sheltering Arms is the two-story brick building across the intersection on the left.
From the East:
- Take Route 2 (Norwich-Westerly Road) west toward Norwich.
- Follow Route 2 signs through Norwich business district. At traffic signal where Route 82 intersects from the left, continue straight (still Route 2).
- At the next traffic light, turn right onto Chelsea Parade, then first right onto Broadway, then first left onto Rockwell Street.
- At the second stop sign, Sheltering Arms is the two-story brick building across the intersection on the left.
